Brighton Van Man offer a comprehensive flat pack furniture assembly service, covering any flat pack furniture you have, not just IKEA.  We are however IKEA assembly experts, having spent the last 7 years assembling just about every product that IKEA stocks.

We are PAX specialists, having assembled literally thousands of frames over the years.

Being a local based company you are able to deal directly with the chief assembler, rather than a call centre, I am always happy to provide free advice with regards IKEA products or assembly issues. Due to locality, products can usually be assembled at very short notice.


We are highly skilled with vast amounts of experience assembling a wide range of products, not just furniture.  We have literally assembled thousands of flatpack items over the years!

Simply contact us with a list of items to be assembled, we'll provide a fixed quote and then arrange a suitable time to assemble your items.

From a small chest of drawers to a complete office or house refit, our experienced assemblers will provide a thorough and excellent service.


You do not have to use our delivery service to have your flat pack furniture assembled.


Frequently Asked Questions

How soon can you assemble my items?

We are busy but endeavour to fit in jobs as soon as we possibly can.  Smaller jobs can be carried out within 24 - 48 hours, slightly larger jobs may carry a lead time of up to 4 days. IKEA items to be delivered and assembled can usually be carried out within one week.

Do you remove the packaging?

As a rule, no.  This is the client's responsibility. We separate the recyclable materials and non recyclable.


Do I need to attach my items to the wall?

Not as a rule. You will need to arrange for this to be done separately, we just offer an assembly service.

Can you disassemble previously built items?

Yes.  Furthermore we can transport them to the forwarding address and rebuild in their new home.

Are you insured?

Yes, certainly are! We are covered by £1 million public liability insurance.

What areas do you cover?

We'll go anywhere! Bear in mind we are based in Brighton & Hove so travel costs may apply.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash or cheque, online payments accepted but must be made upon completion of job.

* Travel time to and from job may be chargeable, as may fuel costs. (Location depending).

** Parking charges are added to the final invoice.
